Cabinet Job Estimator

Build a cabinet quote from material line items, labor by stage, overhead, allowances, and your target margin.

Shared shop rates

Save rates once and apply them when needed. Labor is cost per productive person-hour; overhead is separate. Values are stored only in this browser.

Your worksheet

Example inputs. Replace them with your shop’s numbers.

Materials and purchased components

Use one row per sheet material, door package, hardware set, or purchased component. Enter labor in the stage fields above.

Results

Example inputs are placeholders, not recommended shop prices. Enter all project costs once. This estimates a price from costs; it does not generate cabinet dimensions or a cut list.

How this is calculated

  • Material cost = sum of quantity × unit cost × (1 + waste percentage).
  • Labor and overhead each use the sum of design, fabrication, finishing, and installation person-hours.
  • Job cost = (materials + labor + overhead + subcontracting + delivery) × (1 + contingency).
  • Selling price = job cost ÷ (1 − target margin). Tax = selling price × taxable share × tax rate.

All money inputs use USD. Calculations retain full precision; displayed amounts are rounded. Drafts save on this device when browser storage is available. Export your worksheet to keep a separate copy.
